There are more than 500 beautiful valleys in Himachal Pradesh, and believe me, every valley contains every particle of beauty in itself. Some special valleys are as follows; Bada Bhangal, Churah Valley, Parvati Valley, Sangla Valley, Lahaul Valley, Spiti Valley, Bhabha Valley, Kinnaur Valley, Kangra Valley, Lagga Valley and Chamba Valley.
I have visited all these valleys in the past but if someone asks me which is my favorite valley then I would like to name Solang Valley at the top. The reason for this is that you can reach here by your car, you do not need to walk to reach here, in this valley you stand right in front of the 6000 meter high mountain range, sometimes it feels as if you are holding out your hand. You can touch the mountain.
This valley will never disappoint you whether you go alone or with family. There is something to do here for people of every age. For example, you can enjoy the ropeway and reach Patdu Top, walk 2 km and visit the famous temple known as Anjani Mahadev. If you are fond of trekking then you can visit Patalsu Peak, Beas Kund, Bhrigu Lake, Jogini Waterfall and Hamta Pass.
For those fond of sightseeing, from here you can visit Atal Tunnel, Lahaul Valley, Hidimba Temple, Kothi Village and Madhi. For those doing adventure activities, there is paragliding here in which you can see this valley from the sky by flying, paragliding is done here in Solang Valley, Madhi, Manali and Dobhi. A lot of snow falls here in winter, so much snow that the locals can ski. Everyone here is fond of skiing, so now ski courses are also organized in this valley in winter.
You can also check out the 50 meter long zip line over the Beas river which will give you a unique experience. By jobbering you can give yourself over to motion sickness by going round and round on the grassy field, personally I do not like jobbering at all. Apart from this, there is also joint swing, trampling and very small bungee jumping. If the weather is clear, you can also enjoy hot air ballooning.
Nowadays, the first snowfall of the season has occurred in the mountains here, depending on the type of weather this time, there is going to be a lot of snow this time. I hope that the damage caused by the disaster can be repaired soon so that local life can get back on track. So this was the landscape of Solang Valley which I have been madly in love with since 2013.
