I believe that mountains are love. Everything is good here...I mean everything. I have done basic and advanced mountaineering courses and have used my mountaineering education in mountain expeditions to make my trips easy and fun. From the womb of these mountains, today I have brought to you the Dhauladhar mountain range, which is a 160 km long range.
The Dhauladhar range starts from the Poti Valley of Kangra and ends above the Beas Lake of Solang Valley, at its end this range merges into the mountain range called Pir Panjal. Famous peaks of this range include Hanuman Tibba (5980 meters), Minkin Peak and Gekhoo.
The highest mountain pass of this mountain range is Thamser which is 4750 meters high and today's post includes photos of this mountain pass. These photos are from 4 pm when the sun was about to set, I clicked some before the sun's rays went away. From around 12 pm to 4 pm, clouds had camped in the valley.
As soon as the clouds cleared, I got a chance to click some. Although these photos do not look as great in color as they look after converting them to black and white. It is the month of June but you can still see a lot of snow on the high peaks. We have reached Hanumangarh Peak from Bir.
After clicking some pictures from the 3080 meter high peak, we descend towards Billing from where the road starts. We take a car from Billing and reach our hotel. So this was today's day in which we talked a lot with the snow-covered mountains.
This is my entry for #monomad challenge.
