Today, I feel so at lost and very sorry for my actions yesterday. Yesterday didn't end well. I was so embittered after an incident that happened at the office...
(Please forgive and bear with me for I feel so sad to regurgitate the whole details)

I knew something was wrong but I couldn't point at one particular thing as the cause of my sudden mood swing. So many negative emotional rush dominated my mind that morning.

Before I knew what was happening, I found myself being verbally vengeful at a colleague on a matter that I would have naturally avoided and moved on cheerfully. Regrettably, I didn't move away. I wanted to prove a point using the an uncaring approach.

For the first time in a long while, I forgot that the average human tend to be defensive when confronted with disrespect and hatred.. And unfortunately, I was scolded by the rest of the staff not because I wrong but, because of the manner I treated the senior colleague.

I know she erred, but I didn't do any better. I have to admit that I erred too, For two wrongs never sum up to make a right. I was rude and disrespectful. For this reason, I am doing my first Ulog post to say, I am sorry for;

  • being rude
  • being disrespectful
  • being vengeful.
  • for using productive school work hour to argue.

Right now, I want to be in control of my emotions. To always be on the positive side of life with everyone. I promise myself to be more consciously on the lookout for that singular thing I could appreciate in every person. Complaints, criticism and condemnation has never made any one better,neither has it solved any meaningful problem without leaving a feeling of animosity and hatred between persons.

I have decided to be in hold of myself. To be effusive in appreciating others and correcting in love. That way, I can have that inner peace I so desire not just with myself but also with others around me everywhere I go.

I would be remiss if I fail to this Ulog without asking for forgiveness from the colleague and from myself. I am sorry for not being more loving and patient. To the special senior colleague, I am sorry for being rude. It is the least of my attribute. To myself, I am sorry for disappointing me.

Living a cheerful and a better me!
