Beloved, I welcome us yet again to another Super Sunday of Grace in the month of March. It is my heart desire that the grace of God be made abundantly available for you all in Jesus' name.(Amen)
Today, we will be considering a short message on "The Invitation to Seek God's Face"
My heart has heard you say, "Come and talk with me." And my heart responds, Lord I am coming
Psalm 27:8 (NLT)
There is a glorious invitation coming to you. God is asking you to come and seek his face. It may be for an hour, one day, three days or more.
As I tread through a lonely pathway in the thickest darkness without hope and suddenly, I began to meditate about the things of God, then the light of God Almighty comprehended darkness out of my path. Let us with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, the grace of God through the sacrificial lamb of God, Jesus.
He wants you to come in spite of your busy schedule and spend some time alone with Him. He longs to speak to you. God wants to give you direction. He wants to sort out some critical issues in your life. Though your earthly father and mother may forsake you, the Lord will receive you if only you would seek His face.
He wants to make your path straight and make your enemies and oppressors at peace with you. Though your sins be red as scarlet, He wants to cleanse you.
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need
Hebrew 4:16
It is time to seek the face of the Lord.
Sow for yourself righteousness, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unploughed ground; for it is time to seek the Lord, until He comes and showers righteousness on you
Hosea 10:12
God wants you to come and gaze upon His beauty for your own benefit and safety. You don't have to be fluent to seek His face. Moses was not fluent, yet God listened to Him whenever he called. Maybe you excuse is that you are to young to seek His face... May I remind you that Samuel was still young when He started honouring the invitation to seek God's face.
Oh! You want to make money and gain all the influence and affluence first. Be reminded Riches and wealth belongs to God. He adds no sorrow to those He has chosen to bless.
Finally brethren, as a charge, without any hesitation, answer the call of God. He is waiting for you.
PRAYER
Lord speak on for your servant is listening. I accept your open invitation to seek thy face O' Lord. In your presence there is happiness and joy unending, Lord let me find rest and peace in your presence in Jesus' name... (AMEN!)
