Today makes it exactly a year since I joined steemit. I wouldn't say I have achieved all I set out to do when it all started but I want to appreciate the little I have been able to accomplished using the steemit blockchain.
The Journey so far
What started as an all out desire to make profit and benefit from the financial gains has been doused down and replaced with the desire to just enjoy and stay with the community.
I joined steemit after a terrible loss of my hand earn money to the greed schemes of man called ponzi. I tagged it a game of "the good, the bad and the ugly." Why some benefitted from it while it lasted, many hands and fingers were burnt in that flame of greed.
Thanks to steemit, majority of us(mainly Nigerians) were able to move on with the cushioning steemit presented us.
I have worked patiently if not hard to build my reputation, steem power and vest, to where it is right now...("small" right?) You might say that isn't enough achievement, but may I remind us that many quitted when the market became hard with little reward for minnows.
I have meet with new friends here that we now communicate even outside the steemit platform. What better ways could a man be richer if not richer with brothers and sister from other mothers all round the world?
My only regret on steemit so far

My main pain here on steemit is that @cheetah choosed today of all of God given day to comment on my post. The work he sited was mine and quite not related to what I posted.
Steemit is a wonderful platform but not without other flaws. Sometimes, I asked myself; "how is steemit different from the Nigerian political scene?" Many may not see reasoning to my analogy of steemit with the Nigerian political scene, but I would't divulge more than that.
Here lies the beauty of steemit..I have seen newbies grow from nothing to something and from zero balance to thousands of dollars here on steemit. Everyone is welcome here.
