Beloved, I welcome us to another gracious day, the first Sunday in the month of May. It has been God all the way through the first quarter of the year. He alone is worthy of our praises.
Today, we briefly consider another short message that cannot be over preached. The is all he demands of us. There is a song in our local tongue the says; "Ope lo'je re."...(Praise is His food.) He demands nothing but praise from us.
God is God, He is the God of the heaven, the earth and the seas. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. This is not contestable. He is the one who owns all things and can do all things. He can raise stones in place of men to praise him if men fails to realise his duty to his maker.
1 The Lord reigns, let the nations tremble; He sit enthroned between the cherubim, let the earth shake.
2 Great is the Lord in Zion; He is exalted over all the nations.
3 Let them praise your great and awesome name - He is holy.Psalm 99:1-3
As a people (believers or unbelievers) no matter what we are going through in life, let our gratitude onto God almighty overwhelm our complaints.
We should enter His court with thanksgiving for His redemption, deliverance from all the evils among others. We should thank Him for whom He is. He is far bigger and greater than our imaginations could comprehend. He is worthier than the size of our problems should hinder His praise.
PRAYER
Father, let your praise fill my lips every day of my life in Jesus' name... (AMEN!)
