Brethren, I greet you all in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ. It is my delight to welcome us all to the first Sunday in the month of August. I am sure we all had one or two challenges in the past months...and I also certain that God has been faithful in His words in giving us testimonies of triumphs.
Today, we would be looking at: Power in the Blood
Have you ever wondered why blood is usually required for sacrifices? Blood signifies life and without blood there is no life.

In those days which is regarded as the old order, animal blood was used to deal with the transgression of individuals and assembly.
However, in Hebrews 9:12 says;
"Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once and for all, having obtained eternal redemption."
Jesus Christ is the mediator of the new covenant, His blood speaks better things than the blood of Abel.
Revelation 12:11
And they overcome him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; they loved not their lives unto the death
Moreover, if the old order has continued till date, atonement for sin would have been meant for the rich. The atonement of the blood of Jesus Christ works salvation for sinners and restores backsliders. In His blood there is power to resist sin, temptation and trials. Also it has the power to heal the sick, deliver the tormented and offer hope to the hopeless.
