Beloved, I greet you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I also welcome you all to the month of praise. Praises shall not cease in our hearts and mouths in Jesus' name.
I sincerely apologise for my absence last week. I was away on a function that needed my attention.
Today, we will briefly consider the topic: "Living In Error." Our bible texts are taken from the books of Isaiah 48:17 and Genesis 1:28.
This is what the Lord says your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: "I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.
Isaiah 48:17
God bless them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."
Genesis 1:28
Error according to the dictionary is a mistake especially one that can cause problems. What then as a Christian does living in error implies? What are those mistakes we as Christian have been doing that are causing us problems?
Error delays greatness and is capable of devouring life. Living a life of error is not living in the creation order;
- fruitful
- multiply
- dominion
Living in error implies living outside the biblical mandate of being in charge.
In our text in Genesis 1:28, God so bless man in all things by giving him dominion over everything that was created.
When your life is not fruitful; you are living in error. When you remain at the same position and state without any increase; you are simply living in error. If your life is still ruled over and dictated by those in the world; you are living in error.
Living in error is living a disordered and a foolish life; a life outside godly instruction
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.
Proverbs 1:7
Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid
Proverbs 12:1
It is a life of misplaced priority and a life of deception.
Living in error is living below your God giving potentials.
Living with a mindset of hopelessness is an erroneous living

2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and the earth.Psalm 121:1-2
What are you going through that has made you give up on life when God has not given up on you?
Israel is swallowed up; now she is among the nations like a worthless thing.
Hosea 8:8
Are you swallowed up in your regrets? Are you lost in your thoughts? Are you consumed in your condition? Do people see you and treat you like a worthless thing?
Why not lift up thy eyes to the hills for help? Tell it all to your creator, the one who made the heavens and the earth. God is interested in every man that can wait on Him. He is ever ready to turn your erroneous living into a glorious living. He is ready to change your story to glory and give you dominion. He is willing to increase you on all sides and prosper you.
Till I come your way next week, talk to your Maker in prayer to help you correct your errors and right your wrongs. Ask God to restore you to your Prince and Princess status as true sons and daughters of a living King.
