Good day to the "Hope Beckons" family.

I understand that our series has not been regular as before. This is because of my tight and busy schedule.

As we all know that summer break is almost here, and this period, usually don't afford me plenty of time to spare. Being a teacher with many responsibilities, I have been working round the clock to see to the progress of school examination.

Thank goodness!
Exams are now over, but with over 500 scripts to mark, grade and record.
Yes! You read it right. Over 500 scripts to assess. I teach in a government school and the ratio of teacher to students is not adequately accounted for by the state government. Such is the state of our educational system in our country. The important sector are not takken serious. All our politicians tend to be following the same trend of myopic infrastructural development("Stomach Infrastructure")

Of course, you wouldn't blame them for their lack of foresight. There is severe poverty in the land and they have mastered the act of appealling to the peoples' stomach rather than do the needful.

Just fews days ago, a state here held an governorship election. Instead of having a clear blue print of what and how they want to move the people of the state forward, our politicians were busy scheming how to appeal to the emotions of the people rather than appeal to their intellectual reasoning. They were busy playing blame games and distributing money and food items on the day of election to converse for votes. This is a state that is having more than six months of backlogs of workers salaries.

It is well!

Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well.
_{2 Kings 4:26}

We won't give up on our country. The scripture admonishes us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We would continually pray for our dear country, Nigeria. We must get it right no matter how long it takes. It is well with you, It is well with your household. It is well with our country.

The 'Hope Beckons' series started last year as a way to motivate as many as possible through the Holy Scripture(Bible) with prayers to accompany each series. Hope Beckons series aim at giving hope to everyone out there. It is the needed capsule to inspire us to greatness by standing on the promises of God.

Addition to the 'Hope Beckons' Series

This year, I intend to make the 'Hope Beckons' series more inspiring and cheerful by introducing: 'Hope Beckons - Share&Care. Hope Beckons- Share&Care will only feature every mid-week(Wednesday) as an act of kindness to my followers on the Hope Beckons series.

The modalities to participate for the 'Hope Beckons - Share&Care' are under way and would be communicated to us in due time.
