The planned functionality for Milestone 3 is completed: royalties are being collected on Secondary Transfers when necessary: which is when the NFT has positive minimum price and when the the NFT Series that it belongs to has a positive royalty fee percentage. The unit tests are all passing.

Computer simulation for a DAO governance

"The purpose of this grant for Season 6 is to characterize, design and implement a computer simulation for the governance protocol of these DAOs. This is a follow up of the proposal I made in season 3 which intended to build feedback technologies for decentralized communities. The grant is part of a long term vision that looks for better self-organization, self-management, adaptability, resilience and robustness of decentralized community projects. Because the initial financing will come from the EOS ecosystem, it will be natural that the EOSIO network will initially benefit the most from this endeavor. However, the need for this kind of technologies extends throughout and beyond the decentralized crypto space.
The motivation for developing such a simulation becomes apparent if this tool allow us to:
Identify and design techniques for measuring community behavior.
Identify and design techniques for more effectively transferring information within the system.
Identify and design techniques for aligning incentives so as to reduce noise, increase participation, etc.
Identify and design techniques that allow each independent member to measure his impact within the community.
The initial tentative approach to developing the aforementioned simulation is as described in this post I did for Season 3. The selected language will be either python or R.
Being a public project, all work, including code repositories, technical documentation will be free and open sourced under the adequate IP licenses.
