People are always afraid of new technologies. It will indeed create some more competitive atmosphere, but I don’t think one should/will die. We artists can adapt, the world is constantly evolving and we have to explore mediums at some point in our lives. What separates us humans from AIs is the human mind. These AIs can do art in seconds but it will still need an idea, from a human, to be able to create. There will still be demands for different visual artists despite the new tech emerging so what we can do is use that tool to our advantage. :D
