It's good to hear you're handling your finances well, most people aren't disciplined in this part, myself included 😅. I see and hear comments of other people saying something like "you should buy a car!" the second they know you're doing well financially as if owning a car is the only sign of financial success. Of course the ones doing that usually end up having a hard time with their finances given how much it costs to maintain it every month. Always happen here and kinda sad most people make bad decisions in finances cos they don't think thoroughly.
In making purchases, I usually think about it for weeks and sometimes months. There's this one kinda rule in shopping wisely: Add them to your cart and give it one week before you'll checkout and finally order. If you forgot about it after a week, then you don't need it and just probably gonna regret the purchase.
I usually do that although sometimes I still act on impulse. But taking down notes on how much you've spent will make you think twice about spending more lol
