I used fully jacketed initially. Switched to a polymer tip for the second shot. That did the trick. Heres something i saw that was hard to believe. 556 locked core and what it does to metal targets. Went through them like butter. I expected them to frange out when it hit the steel. Instead it just left big ass holes
