Hell yeah it does. Two years ago i stood above the step on the ladder that says "do not stand above this step" later went one way while i was pruning a tree snd my body the other. Snapped my ankle. Took a year before the ligaments healed fully-ish.

I think it was the second i turned 30 a flip switched in my body that said nope! Now any injury takes a lot longer to heal.
