Pudelpointer: A rising breed

These dogs originated in Germany and are the combination of a Poodle and A Pointer. They make pretty good versatile hunting dogs. If you have never gotten to meet one, you are missing out. They are very large and the puppies look like bright little old men.

My husband has a few associates that own Pudelpointers and he was inspired to draw a puppy.

I thought it looked good like this, but my husband wanted to try a new technique. He has never done this before on a sketch and I am once again astounded by his talent.

I guess I am just biased, but he has a good eye for beauty right? I mean he married me! :)

And here is the man of the minute right here in his studio. He built this house and made me this room as a library. To surprise him I converted it into a studio. He spends hours up here. He plays his guitar and reflects on his art before making changes.

These are the earliest paintings hanging on the walls, He donates most of his newer stuff to clubs and events. It's all about getting his work out there right now. I hope it pays out for him, but whether or not he makes it big, he will still be sitting in the same room, playing the same beat up guitar. Him and I we are both creatures of habit!
