It's a cool opportunity, although i think its good to be realistic. right now steem might be good money for people in small economies (Which is awesome), but for people living in first-world countries, it's not meaningful income.

w/ my 3k+ followers and a reasonably earnest approach, i earn like a dollar a day or less. it's just not meaningful money. i don't see a lot of counterexamples other than people who use bidbots

i like steem for the community more than anything
