Erling Haaland showed with his two goals and three assists in Dortmund's victory over Frankfurt this weekend that he has not been on the lazy side over the summer. The Norwegian is still hot, which of course has not put a damper on the lots of rumors the striker makes headlines in.
Haaland has been rumored to several of the biggest clubs in the Premier League, including Manchester City, where his father played three seasons in player -career. But according to his current coach, Marco Rose, it is not necessarily obvious that the Norwegian goal machine will change away from the club after the current season
He still has a long-term contract with us. Just because the public is constantly talking about him leaving Dortmund next summer, it does not necessarily have to happen, Rose says in an interview with the German media Bild, and continues:
In the end, it is Erling who must decide where he sees its future. Either way, we're glad he's playing for us now - and who knows, maybe it's more than just one more season if he's writing history here.
In the yellow Dortmund jersey, Haaland has played 62 matches and scored an impressive 62 goals already.
