Atalanta defender Cristian Romero is approaching a move to Tottenham. That has forced Atalanta into the transfer market in search of a new central defender. Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, Atalanta have found the player to replace Romero, and here the choice has fallen on Greece's Verona's Matteo Lovato.
Allegedly, Atalanta are already so far with the Lovato deal that they agree with Hellas Verona on the transfer, which will cost the Bergamo club 25 Million. Therefore, last season's Serie A bronze winners only need the personal agreement with Lovato.
