While I enjoy the later UT installments and really enjoy the sheer number and scale of the game mechanics, UT 1 is the best for me. Everything about this game works even today. Fast, simple, engaging, and still original. And thanks to the music, voiceover, and consistent style, the game still has a fantastic atmosphere.
