This stunning 2014 Lamborghini Veneno Roadster set to be The Star this month when it hits the auction block through Bonhams' Bonmont Sale. The estimate price is already up to $US 5,000,000.
The Lamborghini Veneno, based on the Aventador was presented in 2013 at the Geneva Motor Show for its 50th anniversary. The model was designed by Filippo Perini, Italian designer with its scissor doors, the striking feature (now almost every supercar has this feature). Only four examples were built (€4,000,000).
The Roadster version was presented in 2014 in Abu Dhabi on the Italian aircraft carrier Cavour, only 9 examples were produced with a price tag of €3,300,000 (without tax).
The Lamborghini Veneno has 6.5-litre V12 mated to 6.5-litre V12 producing 740 hp. It has a top speed of 356 kmh and can reach 100kmh in just 2.8 seconds. The roadster version has the same performance despite the modification of the chassis in order to compensate the absent roof.
