隆Hola comunidad!
隆Az煤car, az煤car!
Ese hombre que tu tienes buena amiga
Si yo fuera t煤, le dejar铆a
Las maletas en la puerta
Y una nota que dijera
A partir de este momento
Que te cocine tu abuela
Que le den candela
Ay que le den castigo
Que lo metan en una olla
Y que se cocine en su vino
Que le den candela
Ay que le den castigo
Que lo cuelguen de una cometa
Y que luego corten el hilo
Que no sea tan malo y harag谩n
Oy茅me! coc铆nalo bien

English Version:
Hello community! I hope you are doing great, delighted to be here with you. A space for those of us who feel music in our souls and take it everywhere! This time I bring you this great song by (Celia Cruz) which is a real concept, of some gentlemen who use their wife, as the true title, while the woman endures in the hope of a change from him, and this never happens, until she explodes, with the help of a friend that we always have there, and it makes us open our eyes. I made a different version from the original, because thanks to
@orlandobello and
@sayury we have two instruments, and I can't fail to mention the great help of my daughter
@barbyjr I hope to bring a smile to your faces. A thousand blessings.
"Dale Candela" is an anthem to partying and the power of music, performed with the unmistakable energy and charisma of the Queen of Salsa, Celia Cruz. Released in 1993, this song isn't just a dance track; it's a declaration of intent. The lyrics, in their apparent simplicity, invite us to release our sorrows and ignite life, or the party, to the rhythm of a fiery sound.
From the very first moment, the song transports us to a dance floor. The title itself, "Candela," is a metaphor for fire, passion, and uncontrollable rhythm. Celia, with her unique voice, sings "Dale candela, que quema, que quema," a phrase that functions as a call to action. There's no room for sadness. If something bothers you, it burns. If your body asks to move, you give it. The song celebrates the cathartic power of music, that ability to transform everything with a single beat.
Musically, "Dale Candela" is a salsa gem. It combines a powerful rhythmic base with salsa's signature piano, vibrant brass, and percussion that immediately invites you to move your feet. Celia, with her powerful improvisation, adds "soneos" that are like sparks of her personality. Phrases like "Az煤car" and her contagious laugh make the song completely her own.
It's an undisputed classic in Celia Cruz's discography. It's a song that lifts your spirits, makes you dance, and reminds you that life, like music, should be lived with passion and without fear. It's the perfect representation of Celia's joy and indomitable spirit.
Lyrics:
That man you have is not into anything
Instead of making you fall in love, he wears you down
He has no good manners
And he's not attentive to you
That man doesn't deserve you to give him so much affection
He sleeps in the morning and you work
And then at night he escapes you
He demands that you wash him
That you dress him and put shoes on him
And if you protest
He gets angry and wants to hit you
Set him on fire
Oh, let him be punished
Put him in a pot
And let him cook in his wine
Set him on fire
Let him be punished
Hang him from a kite
And then cut the string
Sugar, sugar!
That man you have as a good friend
If I were you, I'd leave him
The suitcases at the door
And a note that said
From this moment on
Let your grandmother cook for you
Set him on fire
Oh, let him be punished
Put him in a pot
And let him cook in his wine
Set him on fire
Oh, let him be punished
Hang him from a kite
And then cut the string
Let him not be so mean and lazy
Let him be nicer to you
(Set him on fire, set him on fire)
(Punish him)
Let him cook in his wine
And let him take another path
Set him on fire, set him on fire, set him on fire, set him on fire
Tell him not to be a jerk
That man doesn't deserve you
I'm telling you, you have to forget him
Listen to me! Cook it well
(Put it in the pan)
Let a truck take it or a train run over it
(Let it cook in its wine)
Let it go eat at the neighbor's house
(Put it in the pan)
Let his grandmother cook for him, I don't cook
(Let it cook in her wine)
He doesn't know you have another one in the bullpent
(Put it in the pan)
There are way more than a hundred better ones than him
(Let it cook in its wine)
I appreciate the great support of
