Awww thank you! I sometimes do freehand projects and write my notes of it, but I haven't really written my own pattern. I hope I'll get to do it, though!

I agree that there are some written patterns that are confusing! But there are friendly ones, too! There are also designers who have both free video and written instructions, so it might be more helpful for you! I recommend forthefrills and knitcroaddict. They both have free patterns on their website and YT channels! Their patterns are graded patterns, btw hehe
