I am such a nature girlie. I feel so at peace and at ease whenever I am in a place surrounded by nature. So when I learned that the forest in Manila has been rehabilitated (after the attempt of closing it for a "structure development" lol), I felt sooo happyyy!! I mean, how awesome it is to have a mini forest within the city, right?

Arocceros Forest Park is located in Antonio Villegas St, Ermita, Manila, very near Lawton, SM Manila, or LRT 1 Central Station. It is free of entrance fee, so yay!

I previously visited this place before, on my own, and I had my little quiet time. I just walked around and then sat on one of the benches, trying to take in the peace it was giving.

Then last week, I went back to Arocceros, but this time, I was with my friend. I have been wanting to bring someone here, and I am glad that I finally did! Bonus pa that my friend loved the place as well.

We had a cheeka session for a while, and several minutes before it's closing time, we took pictures (of course!). The place is really beautiful. I do hope it'll be preserved and be further improved as the years pass.

Stay sane and safe!
Let's spread happiness.
