Hello, everyone! This is going to be just a short entry. I just wanted to share with you a very very verrrryyy cute project I worked on last night!

So yesterday, my 2-yr old niece went to our room, bringing her newly-washed hand-me-down toys. They were my cousin's toys from years ago. One of them was a barbie doll. But the thing was, it was naked and her hair was a mess! Hahahah When we saw the barbie, Papa and I had mutual ideas na I will make clothes for her. Cutieee.

Good thing, my niece agreed on leaving the doll with me when she already went back to their room. I asked her if she wanted a skirt or a dress, and she chose the former. I let her choose the color, too!

After having dinner and doing the chores, I excitedly picked my yarn and hook up, and freehanded the clothes! I wasn't able to take photos of the process, though. I was ecstatic about dressing barbie up! Haha

For reference, I used fine cotton (triple pull) yarn and 3.5mm hook. The stitch I used for the entire thing was HDC (half double crochet), except for the last row of the skirt, wherein I used SC (single crochet). Oh! The strap and skirt adjuster were both just chains.

This was a very simple and quick project. It took me more or less an hour to finish everything, including the doll's hair upgrade. Hahaha I was super happy and aliw with the result, that I had a mini photoshoot of her. 🤣

As of writing, my niece haven't seen this yet! I can't wait to witness her reaction later! Haha

Stay sane and safe!
Let's spread happiness!
