My teenage niece and cousin are both into PPop, just like me. Although, we have different biases. A few days ago, my niece found out that her favorite group would have a mall show, and that all the members will be there. According to her, that was probably the first time that the group will be complete in a mall show, so she badly wanted to go. However, the venue was quite far and she didn't have money to go. Trying to be a supportive and good tita sometimes, I offered to treat her. Haha
So on the day of the event. we went to the mall, together with my cousin and nephew. My niece stayed in the events center the whole time, while the rest of us walked around at some point. Haha The mall show ended at around 6 or 7 PM, just in time for dinner.
After dinner, my nephew invited us to go to timezone. It was my first time in that timezone branch, and I was quite surprised that it was huge. There were tons of activities, plus, there was a real-deal bowing area! Haha After playing a round of bowling, I invited them to leave already, as it was getting late.
When we checked for Grab, it was crazily expensive! So we made an alternative route, and headed to MOA first. Because of that, my nephew got another idea again, and wanted to go to Ikea. We initally disagreed because it was already getting late, but he wouldn't let it go, so we gave in. We got to the Swedish Resto just in time, as it was announced that they were about to close. Haha We got to try their carrot cake and plant-based meatballs.
Getting out was an adventure, or should I say, a misadventure. Haha Apparently, when you enter Ikea (Pasay Branch), you wouldn't be able to go out without passing by the entire store. Haha. When we asked for the Exit, the guard told us to "follow the arrow." lol. It felt like a maze. Hahah We were all getting tired and sleepy, so passing through all the parts of the Market Hall wasn't fun at all (that time, at least). When we finally found the exit, it felt like we won a game we didn't sign up for. Hahaha
It was a tiring day, but it was undeniably fun as well! Looking forward to more dates with these Gen Zs Hahahah.
Stay sane and safe!
Let's spread happiness.
