Promotional methods
1 . Create a Promo-Team in your Country (with Hashtag)
The most important thing is to give people to Steemit how to keep up with your progress and for new people to come to Steemit with a community they already know. It is therefore important to create hash tags into your country and mark all your posts with at least 2 hash tags as a minimum:
#promo-steem
#promo- "YOUR COUNTRY NAME"
For example because I'm based in the Indonesian and philippines, all my promotional posts are marked with #promo-steem.

2 . Business Card Hand Out
We recommend printing 500 business cards to get started. This should include the Steemit logo with Vote Post Earn Blog and #promo- "YOUR COUNTRY NAME" on one side with your @Steemit username on the other. If you have many members of your promo team in your country, then put these people's names too. Additionally you must enter the QR code into your blog or #promo- "YOUR COUNTRY NAME" tag on the business card.
3 . Selfie T-Shirt
The selfie shirt technique is very simple. You and a friend with a camera awaken with people while wearing a Steemit T-shirt, everyone in the photo should point to the Steemit logo on your shirt. This works best if you go to a crowded area like big events, festivals, carnivals, concerts, exhibitions or technology meetings, if you know of other events or have ideas for places, let us know and we'll add them.
4 . Banner / Tarpaulin / Flag on show
We thought it would be GREAT to have a Steemit flag, banners and tarps flying at the show, positioned on a busy billboard and especially on the show aired on television !! So we want to know how much you should charge in your region / country and we will consider sponsoring or providing interest-free loans.
5 . Educational Event
Help people learn about Steemit and all the benefits of getting involved with the community by holding an educational event! I have done this and it was a great success, people really do not believe how great Steemit is when someone shows them how it works! See here for this example.
