No fear that I would upvote, but he does sound sincere, does sound a lot like me in my youth. Though I hope I would engage instead of deleting you comments. Perhaps he tried and it didn't go well?😉

IDK what to say to them other than "the government is never the solution. It's the problem!" They project their ideal image of what society should be on the government, and it couldn't be more sadly misplaced.
