Yeah, the Two Great Questions are as relevant as always.

1. What is the most demanding game you want to play?
2. Do you want to game now or game later?

Those two questions determine your budget, either now, or in the future.

The 2060 I bought was $320, so although that does come right up against 5600 XT, I just didn't hear very good things about the 5600s. Something about a rushed BIOS that you'd have to flash in order to "unlock" performance.

Apparently it also leads to instability in some percentage of the cards, and I'd rather just have something a bit more stable.

Plus, I'm using an R9 Fury X currently, and for my next main build to replace my ten year old motherboard, I still do plan on going AMD CPU+GPU.

So I'll go cheap Nvidia until then. Of course, "stable" comes at the cost of having a locked power limit. That's pretty disappointing, honestly, even though I don't really overclock much.
