And yet, I do still think the "next wave" is coming.

There is no reason to not necessarily believe them, due to the simple fact that plague, war, famine, and death are riding faster and faster, to the rhythm of our panicked screams and desperately beating hearts.

We are the algae and oh how we bloom so beautifully as we spread across the Earth, consuming all we touch.

But oh how we shall fall, and in our death-wake the Earth itself shall rot and turn to ash. Unless....

Unless there is a single ray of hope still left!
