Yeah, it's not that ninjamining is necessarily "wrong," but it's the sort of thing that CAN INDEED be used correctly. If I was going to start a blockchain community like Hive, I'd most certainly find it useful to start up my mining/witness node right away, and try to gain power quickly, but legitimately.

So no, I wouldn't ninjamine before the start-date, but I'd still want to make sure that as the starter of the project, that I have at least the foundation of the project in my hands, considering that for the first few months, I'd be the sole trusted maintainer of it.

But that's because only I can trust myself to not be a sell-out. To actually BE a sell-out, like Ned or Dan did, is just so messed up. They knew how important this blockchain was to the community, so to play things how they did is beyond unjust.
