IN THE BEGINNING

Gen 1:1

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth".

In the beginning God created only Two (2) things- the Earth and Heavens, but the rest of the things that existed to fill the earth and heavens were spoken by the words the mouth. God didn't create the stars, animals or trees but He only commanded those things to appear and they did. That means God spoke to something that actually was already there, because, one cannot command something that is not there to appear. For example one cannot command a sick person to be healed if there is nothing like the healing power God, i.e. the healing power of God is already there and you only want it to manifest itself in the sick person’s life.

So if God says “let there be light, stars, fish, birds, tress etc.” and they appeared then it means that they already existed but only needed to manifest themselves in the outward surface of the earth. So the question is where were they?

Gen 1:2

“The earth was formless and empty".

The bible tells us that the earth was Empty. Yes,

it was empty on the outside manifestation but Full from the inside (within).

Thus the earth was full within it but it's outward look was empty. God therefore knew that inside the earth were all the goodies that He needed to give to man. The minerals, trees, stones for building and animals of all kind.

God didn’t have to waste His time creating every single bird, fish, animals or tress of every kind, one after the other, because they were components of the earth- i.e. they were already inside the earth when God created it. That is why God only needed to command them to appear.

THE LESSON

God has already created everything there is to be created. He does not create anything new and no new thing would be added to what He has already done. Solomon confirmed this by saying in Eccl 3:14-15 that;

“and I know that whatever God does is final. Nothing can be added to or taken from it”.

Whatever God has to do in your life, He has already done it. Inside you are everything you need in life, ranging from opportunities to success. They are inside you so you only have to command them to appear from the inside.

Just as God forced the earth to produce whatever the earth has in it, so you can also command your mind, talent, skills and abilities to produce the success, wealth, achievement, riches that abides inside you.

God will not decide overnight to bless you and make you rich just because you are poor or come from a poor family, neither will He have pity on you for continuous failures in everything you do. But you will be rich because it is inside you and you will succeed in your endeavors because success is in you. You have already being blessed with those things.

But just as Solomon said in Eccl 3:1 that

“for everything there is a season, a time for every activity under the heaven,

Riches, success, fame, wealth, healing, deliverance, opportunities, freedom, salvation, marriage, helpers etc. all comes when their time is due. It is the time that decides, not the circumstance or situation you find yourself.

So if you are working keep working hard, if you are praying keep praying, if you are under training keep training and if you are fighting keep fighting, for when the season is ripe your hard work, prayers, training and fighting would pay off and you will be happy.

Don’t sit down idle and expect things to drop on you just like that, because it will not happen. God did not make things that way.
