Being a student can be difficult and at the same time entertaining if you employ the several strategies and use various means to attain excellence in your studies and other curricular activities.
These days, there are several applications produced daily to help students maintain a standard GPA in their studies, but unfortunately some students are still ignorant of these development and results in performing poorly in their educational career.
The main goal of these contemporary technological development are a means to help students manage both their time and schoolwork. As students, it is important to manage time to as to stay healthy both mentally and physically so that they can be productive and proactive. Some examples includes: QANDA, photomath, duolingo, My Study Life, grammarly, spark notes, stem tools, quiz let etc.
From my experience being a student and the financial situation Of things in my country, anything I would want to invent would be one that people can access with their smartphones and no internet access because not everybody can afford the Data tariffs by network providers. There is one thing I have been imagining once a while and it has to do with voice and image input.
I know it's not ideal to take the easy route to success but sometimes it is not avoidable, so I imagine a situation where students can operate an app that allows them to take a photo of a confusing question where the app employs the use of AI to explain the process step by step.
From my research though, there are AI platforms that offer this services but its not free and you have to subscribe to be able to use such features. To make it easy and accessible to all, it should allow for offline accessibility that supports voice to text and photo explanations.
In the course of this, students would be able to record classroom lectures as the professor is teaching and at the end use the invented app with AI to convert them onto well tailored notes that encompasses the summary, key points and possible test and exam questions. When this has been achieved they can access the app and check for the converted note without using the internet.
These ideas sounds tantalizing until we put in the place the difficulties that will be face in invent and utilizing them. The tools are limited partly to secondary school students whose parents would have access to mobile device but would be beneficial to university students. Also, the biggest problem is based on the fact that it would cause distractions for them as students of this generation are looking for easy access to pass.
In conclusion, this is a very good idea but would require time, energy and funds to execute the project.
