Hello Steemit Family,
My name is Hemanth Kumar and I am from India. This is my 50th blog post on Steemit and i would like to introduce myself in this personal landmark blog.
About me:
Past :
I have done my Bachelors in Information Technology during 2004 - 2008 and also completed Post graduate Diploma in Information Technology very recently and waiting for my results. I did get a job while i was in college but never heard back from the company till 2010 due to recession. So for 2 long years i worked in a Customer support role supporting Whirlpool water heaters across the United States over phone. US citizens bashed me right and left for my support. Lol! i felt pity for our customers and also myself. After that i moved into Programming world and now i stand with 7 years of experience into Microsoft technologies specially .NET.
Present :
I am currently working for a leading laptop manufacturer as a Senior Software Engineer. My job includes developing, supporting and maintaining .NET applications.
Future :
I am in the process of applying PR visa for Canada. I have cleared IELTS with Band 8 Score and have sent my educational certificates for evaluation. Hope everything goes smooth and an invite be sent to me from the Canadian immigration department.
My Steemit Journey :
I have joined Steemit.com on 29th October 2017 just because of the simple idea of rewarding good content. I was so excited about Steemit and thought this could be my life changing online passive income generator. The reason for my excitement is my failure in online jobs / work since 2008. I tried my hands in Data entry, PTC Websites, Blogs, Youtube, Ebay / Amazon selling and many others but all my efforts went in vein and i literally earned nothing. For the first time on 12th December i got 77 US Dollars(5000 Indian rupees) into my bank account with the help of Steemit. Just imagine how i would have felt on the 77 dollar credit after all my failures. I'm out of words and could not sleep that night out of joy. Thank you Steemit and all the wonderful Steemians who upvoted, resteemed and commented on my blogs. My little success is only because of you.
I have only posted technical blogs on my profile till date and also started teaching Oracle very recently. Hope you will love them. I am happy and also proud to declare that every blog or video i posted belong to me and is authored by me. I have never ever copied a single line in my 54 days of Steemit journey to save this great platform and support some wonderful authors who are doing the same.
