In the focus of warnings of Central Government of India to find out origin/source and check the rumors/fake news on WhatsApp; WhatsApp announced WhatsApp Research Award worth $ 50000. This is to work on technologies to find out the origin/ source of fake news and how to check it's spreading.
By this award Independent Research Projects will be funded. WhatsApp will invite researchers to present their papers in two seminars will be held in October 2018 and in April 2019 respectively.
