Hello everyone, this is my first post to this new community and I should share with you some information about myself and what kind of stuff you're going to be reading in my not so often posts.
Before anything else I'll start by saying that I had absolutely no idea about what has been happening in the Steemit community - where I came here from - because I'm not a regular author. I'm not a regular because I think that I must have something to say or present in order to post more regularly and I really haven't.
I started blogging at Steemit after a good friend of mine told me about it and it caught my interest the fact that one can actually make some money from the posts so I went ahead and gave it a shot. I have found the whole idea quite intriguing and for a while it looked like a lot of fun, regardless the fact that I've never been posting regularly myself.
At Steemit I've made posts about a few travels that I've made but most of my posts have been about my music collection and also about my attendance at gigs and festivals. I'm a music enthusiast, I don't play any instrument myself, although I've had piano lessons when I was very young and same route I'm going to follow in my future posts here at HIVE. The way that things are shaping with these two communities, it seems to me that I'm going to leave my Steemit account idle indefinitely and start being active here.
I want to wish this new community all the success that it can possibly have and I'll try to be around as often as I can and be active.
Also some advice is highly appreciated regarding the Steem Keychain extension that I've added in my Brave browser. Since I had difficulty in signing in to HIVE, I saw this post @bitrocker2020/how-to-use-keychain-to-login-and-post-on-hive, however in the Preferences tab that the RPC node the post is showing, it wasn't there when I looked for it to select it, so I clicked ADD RPC and entered it myself. However this selection doesn't seem to stay, it goes back to api.steemit.com. What can I do about it? Another thing that surprised me is that I logged in by using my pass that I'm using for Steemit too. What should I do about it, is this ok? Thank you for any advice in advance.
