Nara is a very special place in Japan and you should definitely visit. Why? Because it is the home to a population of semi wild Bambi deer which roam freely in the Nara park / city.
There are so many deer, apparently over 1000 of them roaming freely in the park and surrounding areas. They are wild I'm the sense that there are no fences to stop them moving around freely and as a result, you will see the deer absolutely everywhere.
