A musical doesn't need utmost current interpretations of the songs, but they do need authenticity to drive a well known story. This is something I feel both Naomi and Menu achieved very well.
Visually speaking, the live action was extremely colourful and the outfits were beautifully matched. This is something you would of course expect with a Disney production and they have shown again exactly how to get that aspect down.
