Bioshock Remake - My descent into Rapture City | Me bugueo tratando de cambiar de arma [ENG - ESP]
During the last few weeks I've been buying games like crazy, without starting any specific one so I decided to settle down and start one seriously and among so many games I chose Bioshock which is a game I had been interested in for a while now, on the recommendation of my best friend. So in this post I will be telling you about my experience during the first minutes of playing the game.
At the beginning of the game we are introduced to the protagonist of this game as he has a little monologue with himself, only to be interrupted by the crash of the plane he was traveling in. Conveniently Jack manages to be the only survivor of this accident and manages to survive by swimming to a lighthouse that was near the place where the plane crashed. Once inside the lighthouse Jack is out of options and decides that it is an excellent idea to enter a bathysphere which takes him to his descent towards Rapture, an underwater city created by Andrew Ryan, who seems to be our enemy to defeat in this game.
Once we get to Rapture we are greeted by a splicer, a corpse and Atlas who will be our guide for who knows how long, thanks to his help we avoid a confrontation against the splicer and we can climb a building only to find that the city is in chaos so we have to survive with the help of plasmids and different weapons that we will find along the way.
I still don't understand very well what plasmids are, but I do know that they give you the power to throw lightning bolts at your enemies to electrocute them, honestly it is not an ability that does too much since it mostly serves to immobilize the enemies so that we have the opportunity to attack, where this ability shines the most is when the enemies are surrounded by water in that way you just have to throw a ray and let the electricity do all the work.
In din continuing with the adventure, after injecting the plasmids directly (without thinking that maybe this could have killed him) our protagonist temporarily faints, but gets up a few minutes later because the building where he is flooding. From this point our mission will be to help Atlas as he has been separated from his family and asks us to go to Neptune's Bondy to reunite with his family and leave Rapture.
From here on I had a bad time, very bad, because this is not the kind of game I'm used to and it took me some time to get used to the change between hands and more importantly to the change between weapons. And so far I've only managed to have three, I don't even want to know the bundle of confusion I'll be if they give me more.
Moving forward we will also meet what I think are enemies, since I have not faced any directly, but their appearance speaks for itself. And these are the Little Sister's and the Big Daddy's, according to Atlas the Little Sister's collect Adam (I don't know what it is, but it sounds important) and the Big Daddy's are their guardians, so far I haven't interacted directly with any of them (at least not being aware) and I don't want to do it, I feel I will die the first moment they put any of these bugs in front of me.
After advancing a little more and almost being cornered by Andrew Ryan and the splicers, we arrive to the medical ward where we have to open a door to be able to advance. In which I did not do very well, because although I could open the door I was killed after a few seconds because of my bad aim and for relying on the paralyze and shoot method.
