When the sky is washed clean and the earth turns golden…
This morning, the air was so gentle that I couldn’t bear to start my day indoors. The rain had just stopped, and the scent of the earth—as if it had taken a deep, refreshing breath—filled the entire space. I tied my shoelaces and headed out into the streets.
I had barely taken a few steps when my breath caught in my throat. It was as if Autumn had stayed awake all night, scattering its most brilliant shades of gold and yellow across the leaves. The trees stood, stately and calm, their foliage drenched by the rain; every single drop of water on the yellow leaves shimmered like a fragment of light. The pavement was carpeted with fallen, rain-soaked leaves that whispered beneath every step I took.
A pale blue sky peeked through the soft, rain-spent clouds, while the turquoise pool in the center of the park—acting like a mirror—amplified all this beauty and stillness. There was no one else on the sidewalk; it was just me, the pleasant coolness brushing against my skin, and a sound that felt like the earth itself taking a fresh, light breath.
Today was more than just a simple walk; it was a vivid, intimate reminder that life—despite all its chaos—still knows how to leave us spellbound within the quiet of an autumn morning.
I tucked my hands deep into my pockets, took a deep breath, and continued on my way with a gentle smile… 🍃🍁
