Hello, I went for a walk around my local nature reserve, Kersal Wetlands, and I took a few photos an a little bit of drone footage.
Before this place was turned into Kersal Wetlands me and my friends called it the Lanny, and we spent a lot of time on here as children, camping and building dens. Its changed a lot and looks nothing like it used to.
It is a man made nature trail on the site of the old Manchester Racecourse, created as part of a £10 million flood protection scheme in Salford. You can see references to its horseracing past in some of the artwork around the trail.
Here is a short video taken with the mavic mini. I couldn't shoot a longer video because I forgot to put my spare batteries in the bag and I wasted most of the only one I had with me testing settings on the drone before I realised I'd forgot my other batteries.
