Today on this post I will show you the final steps in finishing the drawing of this new character.
From the previous drawing last night where I left off, I added some highlights on the face and ears to give the character some depth and definition.
Then I worked on the clothes applying the same idea of putting highlights and shadows.
The last thing I did for this character design is the background. I did not plan to create an elaborate background. A simple dark sort of an entrance is what I thought of just to give the character some contrast. That explains why there is a door like structure behind him. I also put a shadow on his feet I hope all these details will help the participants to choose a name for him during the contest. So please watch out for that post this week about Name Me Contest.
