Hello creative people of Steemit and eSteemians. Here is the continuation of my character design from my previous post

This is the finished look. I didn't expect it to look like a fisherman because I was using the shape of a heart as my inspiration. I've forgotten to come back to it but after two days this is what it came out to be and I love it. The heart shaped face may no longer be evident but its big pair of ears are a cute addition. They defined the face and character well. It's weird but cute look at the smile on the face.

Here are some of the photo process while I was working on it.

I was forcing the idea of the heart shape. The face is dull grey , lifeless and I can't see a character. I had to think of ways to make the character come alive and interesting. The hat doesn't seem to work with the cape and trousers at this point. I was struggling to make it all look cohesive

On this stage I decided to change the clothes. The hat became straw like and the cape has to follow which now looks like a raincoat made out of dried palm leaves or grass. I replaced the belt with a rope that has two glass bottles dangling on both ends. The character is now sporting a long hair.

This is the background. After I drew the baskets on either hands I thought this character is fit to be in a fishing village so I made a background with water and a vast sky.
I love the finished look hope you do too. Stay tuned for the upcoming Name Me Contests. I will be using this image and the one previous to these.

Thanks,
