It was not working a minute ago but seems to be ok now.

As far as I understand the account hive.blog/@beeme (peaks.com/@beeme) is the person who modified steemchillers code for hive. Steemchiller had posted some versions of steemworld.org's code online.
I don't know who the person behind beeme.icu is. Their hive account only has 1 post.

I don't think steemchiller is involved at all as he is committed to steemit as far as I kny

As for reliability I hadn't checked that often recently but yes the beeme.icu site doesn't load properly from time to time. I don't know why.

There is another site called hivestats.io that has some features of beeme.icu also.

I think hivestats is run by some people involved with leofinance.io (finance community that's on hive used to be called steemleo.com).

Hopefully hivestats.io will have similar features as beeme.icu so if one is down but the other is available then there is an option.
