Looks like Purdue Pharmaceuticals has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in a deal that means future profits will go towards settling lawsuits against its drug OxyContin, an opiod. The owners will remain as billionaires but the filling and deal will make some bit of a difference to the people affected by this drug crisis.
