This seven foot dog statue on a 25 foot black pole cost over $100,000 Canadian dollars to create and install in 2013. Located at Main Street and 17th Avenue in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
It's interesting and thought provoking but I'm not sure if it's worth the local, federal governments and Translink paying this much for street art when other problems are untreated effectively especially in Downtown Eastside.
