Today I want to tell you about an anime movie directed by Satoshi Kon that was recommended to me about psychological thriller, I'm talking about Perfect Blue, which is based on a novel of the same name.
The story centers on Mima, a Pop Idol who is in her early twenties and wants to be an actress for which she will have to leave her singing phase and leave the J-pop group “Cham” in which she shares the stage with her other 2 companions. This causes some annoyance among staunch fans of hers, especially one, which we will later know as Me-mania. During the last presentation of her with the group and when she leaves, she receives letters from her fans and one shouts at her that he sees "Mima's room", words that resonate in the mind of our protagonist when reading them again in a of the cards.

Poco a poco la historia se va haciendo más densa en contenido, ya que la protagonista empezará un camino de maduración forzado, debido a que su decisión de ser actriz comenzará a tener repercusiones en su mente, entre el trauma de dejar su etapa más infantil y pura como era el mundo de las Idol y sumergirse a una industria más adulta en la que se ve obligada a aceptar escenas fuertes como una violación y desnudos.

Little by little the story becomes denser in content, since the protagonist will begin a path of forced maturation, because her decision to be an actress will begin to have repercussions on her mind, between the trauma of leaving her most childish stage and Pure as it was the world of the Idols and immerse herself in a more adult industry in which she is forced to accept strong scenes such as rape and nudity.

La película utiliza muchos simbolismos para contarnos lo que está sucediendo en la mente de nuestra protagonista, los enfoques de la cámara y la composición de colores en las escenas nos cuentan de manera inconsciente los peligros a los que se enfrenta Mima. Es una película que vale la pena ver con mucha atención y quizás un par de veces para entender mejor el giro final de la trama, ya que hay escenas que juegan con la mente de uno como espectador, al pensar que estas se han repetido o que nos perdimos algo particularmente importante.
The film uses many symbolisms to tell us what is happening in the mind of our protagonist, the camera approaches, and the composition of colors in the scenes unconsciously tell us about the dangers Mima faces. It is a film that is worth watching with a lot of attention and perhaps a couple of times to better understand the final twist of the plot, since there are scenes that play with the mind of one as a spectator, thinking that these have been repeated or that we missed something particularly important.
En lo personal me gustó bastante la historia, en cuanto la terminé tuve que investigar más sobre todo lo que me había perdido de la película debido a que la vi con subtítulos y es complicado leerlos y apreciar las escenas, y me sorprende cuantas otras películas se han inspirado en escenas de Perfect Blue para adaptarlas a su historia. Hasta aquí mi recomendación, espero que se den la oportunidad de verla y cuéntame que te pareció.
Personally, I really liked the story, as soon as I finished it I had to investigate more about everything that I had missed from the film because I saw it with subtitles and it is difficult to read and appreciate the scenes, and I am surprised how many other films are They have inspired by scenes from Perfect Blue to adapt them to their story.
