Genesis 22:19-24
Today we are knocking out another chapter in Genesis. After Abraham sacrificed a ram instead of his son, he came down from the mountain and joined the men who were with him. They went to Beersheba and that is where he continued to live.
The chapter ends with some of the documentation of Abraham's family tree. We can see why he called Sarah his sister several times when they approached foreign lands. Husbands could be killed in order for kings to marry their wives. Some say she was actually Lot's sister and others say she is a half sister from a different mother.
