I asked myself as something recently megavoprosom, what do all these vs xo mean on bottles of cognac.

Well I like this kind of moonshine, and unlike vodka I like it in small quantities.

As it turned out, if the asterisk is 10 months spent with cognac in a barrel (by the way, whoever does not know the cognac is always able to stand at the same time, the first of April at one o'clock in the morning ... you see the joke so) then the letters mean a lot, too, but words.

C (Cognac) - cognac
E (Special) - special
O (Old) - old
V (Very) - very.
S (Superior) - excellent
P (Pale) - pale.
X (Extra) - extra.

Tobish VS is a very excellent cognac, in fact at least two and a half years in a barrel or stupidly three stars.

Further VO - three-year old and sounds like very old, VSOP - at least four years, there is still VVSOP - this is no less than five well, and XO - six years minimum.

What for me personally this knowledge has changed - yes actually absolutely nothing, personally I consider that there is a charm both in young drink, and in old. The main thing is that the drink was made not in the garage by Ahmed with the help of Georgian tea and technical alcohol diluted with tap water with bleach.

All the absence of a hangover
