Yooo guys I’m back with another beauty tutorial💁🏻♀️.
I’ve been loving this hairstyle lately! Ever since I saw a girl wear this low slick bun, I thought it was BOMB and so I tried it out myself and BOOM, ya girl got up a tutorial on it.
A WHOLE tutorial👀!
YOU’RE WELCOME!
So first I start off with second day old washed hair
I usually like doing sleek looks on 3 day old washed hair because the hair is more “moist” if I can put it that way. The natural oils your hair produces come out to play more around that time so it’s much easier to style back than on dry clean hair.
Now you want to create a middle path for yourself. Try get this path as straight as possible, I couldn’t perfect it because I didn’t have a comb with me, but you can👀.
Once you’ve got your path, you just want to flatten your hair out with a bristle brush.
Please make sure you’re using one of these brushes. I don’t know exactly what it’s called but I call it a bristle brush 👀 correct me if I’m wrong...
If you don’t use one of these to sleek back your hair, you won’t achieve this look.
With my hands I’m going to start laying my hair flat into a tight ponytail.
Shortly after that, you’ll use your bristle brush once again and brush your hair into a really tight ponytail, as tight as possible!
Once it’s tight, I hold it in a tight grip with my one hand. Whilst still in tight grip, I take my brush and start teasing my hair upwards to make it more voluminous.
Now you take your hand that’s free and you grab your ponytail towards the end, and scrunch it up into a messy bun. There’s no particular way in which this should be done, you just scrunch it up to create a voluminous, messy bun looking shape.
Once it’s in the shape more or less that you like, you’ll tie it up with your first hair tie. A normal sized hair tie.
Now as you can see, sometimes pieces fall out of the bun. That’s why I usually go in with another hair tie (little one).
Lastly for the bun, I’m taking this styling gel by L’Oréal Paris and applying that to the roots of my hair and dragging it down to sleek my hair back even more.
& there we go. Ya bun is done. (That rhymes😂👀)
And that’s it for the bun, so let’s move on to the fun part 👀. BABY HAIRS 👶.
For this you’ll be needing, an old toothbrush.
& this gel stuff again👀
Then you want to put a little bit of the gel onto the toothbrush.
And start carving out those baby hairs girl🙌🏼. You want to kind of carve them out in a round position. It’s hard to explain, but you’ll see what I mean in my video😁.
I also do my side burns and curl them out towards the end with my toothbrush & gel.
That’s pretty much the look...
See ya in the next one 😁💕🙌🏼.
Cheers x
