Proverbs chapter 14:29
He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding, but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.
The Bible here is telling us in other words, that being quick to get angry is foolishness.
As a human, you will certainly find yourself in situations that will make you angry, but the ability to control your anger is what separates you from a foolish person.
Being angry too easily and quickly have cost a lot of people so many things. Some commit murder, suicide, domestic violence all because they could not control anger.
Some are prisons because of anger. As much as you can, try to control your emotions when anger starts waking up in you. If it means leaving that environment for awhile, leave it.
Most importantly, remember you have to be like your Father who is slow to anger. Ask the Holy Spirit of Truth to help you get rid of anger.
Do not allow anger destroy your life or cost you anything.
